FAQ

Booking Flower Preservation

How do I book flower preservation services?

To book flower preservation services, place your deposit on our website, selecting the Sunday closest to your event as your reservation date. If your event date has passed or you have dried flowers, you can book the next Sunday available. If your date is not available, feel free to email us at info@wrenvalleyco.com to see if we can accommodate your request.

Once you have booked, we will send you an order form to select your pieces, bouquet transfer preferences, and design preferences, and finalize any other details.

My event date has no timeslots. Does that mean you aren't available?

If you don't see your date, please reach out by using our contact form or emailing us at info@wrenvalleyco.com. We do our best to accommodate last-minute requests. We have limited availability and some months book up faster than so we recommend booking as early as possible to ensure availability.

My event date has just past. Can you still preserve my flowers?
 What if they are wilting?

We do our best to accommodate last-minute bookings and it is never too late to preserve your flowers. But if your flowers are wilting, we recommend getting them to us as soon as possible. Some flowers fade more quickly than others, so we may choose to highlight those that are in the best condition once we receive your bouquet.

My flowers are already dry. Can you still use them?

Absolutely! Putting already-dried flowers in resin is a great way to give them a second life and added protection. How we can utilize your flowers may be dependent on their condition, but we are happy to work with you to create something you'll love. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.

Selecting your Pieces

How do I pick my pieces?

Once you place your deposit, we will send you a link to our order and agreement form. We recommend submitting your order form to allow us to plan our preservation schedule accordingly. Your order and agreement form is due 3 weeks before your reservation date selected when placing your deposit.

Can I request something that is not listed on your pricing list or lookbook?

We are always happy to discuss custom requests and will do our best to accommodate your specific needs. Please contact us to discuss your ideas and requirements.

Do I need to pick a display piece?

No, you are not required to order a display piece. You are welcome to choose only items from the Add-On category.

Do you have packages available?

We sure do! We have some curated packages you can pick from or you can build you down. Visit our pricing page for the full list of packages available.

Getting Your Flowers To Us

Can I drop-off my bouquet?

Yes! We do not have a physical store location, but we offer flower drop-off and order pick-up in Kanata and Downtown Ottawa and do our best to accommodate your availability.

Do you offer bouquet pick-up?

Yes! Bouquet pick-up comes with an additional minimum charge of $50 for the service. We also need time to ensure availability, so we require a minimum of a month's notice before your event date should you request bouquet pick-up.

Can I ship my flowers to you?

Yes! You can ship your flowers to us, but please note that you are responsible for the associated fees for shipping. We will provide details after you submit your order and agreement form.

The Preservation Process

How long does the process take?

The length of time required for our flower preservation process varies based on the type of flowers and pieces requested. On average, we will have your order ready 12-16 weeks after your flowers are dropped off. We will do our best to provide an accurate timeline after your flowers are dry.

Will my flowers change in the preservation process?

Different flowers dry differently and some may look identical dry, while others can fade and change during the drying and preservation process (red flowers darken, whites become creams, etc.). Additionally, bruising, damage, or wear in leaves and petals can cause translucent or dark spots. Your flowers are perfectly imperfect, so this changes are normal and part of the beauty of working with real flowers. Ultimately, we do our best to preserve your flowers in a way that lets them shine so you can enjoy and appreciate them for years to come.

For more information on how the colours of your flowers may change, please see our blog post on the topic.

Payment

When do I pay my invoice?

Unless otherwise specified, we require full payment for custom flower preservation orders 30 days after your reservation date (the date you select when placing your deposit). We will send you an updated invoice after receiving your order form.

Can I use a gift card for flower preservation?

Definitely! Gift cards can be used when placing an deposit or paying an invoice.

We offer electronic gift cards, which can be sent directly to the recipient if you choose.
